The Front Room returns to Victorious Festival for yet another People’s Lounge take-over. You will find us, as ever, in the World Music Village, delighting you with spoken word and music.
The Front Room features some of Portsmouth’s and the wider region’s best poets, spoken word presenters, songwriters and acoustic-based performers. The Front Room presents bi-monthly offerings at independent venues in Portsmouth and has been showcasing the best in spoken word talent in the city for over 10 years.
Join us at this year’s Victorious Festival 2024, on Friday 23/08/24, in The People Lounge from 1.00pm-2.30pm) where you will witness award-winning and acclaimed poets The Speech Painter, London-based Steve Tasane, as well as Million Pebble Beach and Portsmouth Poet Laureate Sam Cox. In addition, we have The Southsea Songolouges, songs you know and love but not as you know them!
