Psychic Spies is a live AV remix utilising original shot material, natural soundscapes, spoken dialogue and additional live electro-acoustic audio score. The narrative explores the layering of simultaneous realities as secret coded messages, broadcast on short wave radio during the cold war, as metaphors not only for the secret world of spies but also for the hidden world of spirits.
Asea:Ashore is an arts and archive celebration of Southsea, and its relationship with the sea, in sound and video. Aided by Kino Foundation, and a grant from Southsea Town Council, artist Jez Stevens will rework vintage and historic film into a large scale video projection on a building on the seafront itself.

The Kino Foundation presented “1000 Plateaus 2009: a digital potlatch” curated by VJ PowerPoint (aka Jez Stevens) at The Spring (formerly Havant) Arts Centre, Hampshire, UK. The event saw more than 35 artists contribute to this open platform event for digital arts and media coordinated by 1000 Plateaus artists network.
